some of the anal important
things to a successful
marraiage. Including:
(1) . Communication - If
you caa'i communicate how
do you know what the other
wants or expects. For a
marriage to be successful
you have to talk to your
partner on how you feel, how
you like things done, and you
hive to let your partner know
what is expected of them.
(2) . Having something in
common • If you have
something in common that
you can do together, then
you will likely become closer.
A marriage where two people
have nothing in common
usually ends up in disaster.
More marriages succeed
where the interests are the
same.
Your partner has to be
your friend besides being
your husband or wife.
Tf you need professional,
advice for your problems,
don'.t hesitate to go to a
counselor. This is nothing to
be ashamed of. Or go to a
friend. If you have a problem
that you can't work out find
someone who can help you.
Mr. Moore said he did not
believe in divorce, although
he said sometimes it is the
only solution. You can always
work a problem out if you try
hard enough
This year the FHA girls
sold cookbooks to raise
money for a $100 scholarship
to be given to the most
outstanding FHA senior. The
FHA made a little over $100.
A contest was held and Tracy
Kincheloe won first prize.
Tana Allen won second, for
selling the mast cookbooks.
The chapter wishes to thank
all the people who bought the
cookbooks.
Every quarter the FHA
chapter, chooses a special
student. The second quarter
student for 1979 is Phyllis
Oltrogge.
