Twitty Biard, T.G. Shep-
pard and His Band, and
Helen Cornelius and The
All American Band perform
at The Frank Erwin Center.
A check totalling $1,483.00, proceeds of the Government
Girl’s Chib’s Annual Cancer Tea, was presented to the Amer-
ican Cancer Society, (AlamoUnit) at their regular monthly
meeting held at the Quarterdeck. Making the presentation was
Mis. Ciemmie Grant, Project Chainnan aid Vice President
of the chib. Pictured from left to right, Mrs. Giant, Mrs.
Elvia Davis, President - Almo Unit, and Mr E.A. Smith, Alamo
Unit Crusade Chairman. We are very grateful for the memorials
that were given in the memory of the following: Memorial
for Mrs. Sophie Stevenson, from The Upaon Family; for Mrs.
Edmerson, from Mrs. Fred Pickett; for: Mis.,Vera Fainer
and Mrs. Evelyn Johnson, from lota Phi Lambda Sorority,
Gamma Phi Chapter; for. Mr. J.R. Prado, from Mr. Raul
Prado; for Mr. Julian Thomas from Mis. Joe Faye Alford

gories. Entries can be sub-
mitted in such fields as con-
sumer print, radio, television,
sales promotion, merchan-
dising, public relations, pro-
motion, outdoor and transit
advertising.
The entries, mainly from
advertising agencies, corpor-
ations, and individuals in the
communications fields, will
be judged during the summer
by some 100 top executives
from thorughout the nation.
The awards will be presented
at a gala dinner on October
22nd at the New York Hil-
ton Hotel.
Two noted business lead-
ers are serving as co-chair-
men of the 1981 competition
They are William E. Phillips,
Chairman and Chief Execu-
tive Olficer of Ogilvy & Ma-
ther Inc., U.S.A., one of the
top five agencies, and Percy
Sutton, former President of
the Borough of Manhattan
in New York City, who is
now Board Chairman and
Treasurer of Inner City
Ozark Air I ines
offers reduced fares
Local travelers using Ozark
Air Lines’ new service to St.
Louis and other markets can
save up to half off the regular
fare. The special fares are
effective with the inaugura-
tion of Ozark service here
Sunday.
Travel on Ozark at the 50
percent Stop N' Save fare
is available to such cities
as Baltimore, Washington,
D.C., Chicago, Detroit, Min-
neapolis/St. Paul and Phil-
adelphia.
In addition, Ozark offers a
special fare to Houston and
Dallas/Fort Worth with even
greater savings at $25 on
weekends, and $40 during the
week. Also, the S25 fare will
bo available to Dallas/Fort
Worth on one trip every day.
Also, travel in the St. Louis
market will be offered at
Ozark’s special super Coach
fare providing a 25 percent
savings. The $125 Super
Coach provides a savings of
$42 off the regular fare,
and children accompanying
an adult will travel at half
the Super Coach fare.
These special fares are un-
restricted in all markets.
There are no length of stay
or advance reservation
requirements; however, seats
are limited except for the
Super Coach fare.
Travel arrangements can be
made by calling Ozark reser-
vations at 224-4444, or
through a travel agent.
