Fashions will light the night with jots of glitter, be it

Difficult decisions have been made by many in choos-

Following tradition, there will be many crisp peau da
soie gowns with bell-shaped skirts and beaded oodices.
Many of the fashion conscious women are looking to heavy
brocades and tapestries and velveteen will be another rich-
looking fabric to catch the glimmering lights.
Translucent, filmy chiffons and delicate laces ana fav-
orites with many and the new feather trim will float on

Baytown citizens will have an opportunity to show their
appreciation at Saturday's ball.
From the day the invitations were mailed, members
have wondered if the second ball would be as successful as
the first.
"We’re overwhelmed", Mrs. Bailey said, and "cer-
tainly encouraged for the ball to continue in future yean".
Mrs. John C. Echols is president. . r:,‘ j
Tireless planning and enthusiasm on the part of league
members, have paved the way for another of Baytown's
memorable evenings.
AMONG THE beautiful bet gowns ready for Saturday
night's Dynasty Bat are Mn. Norman Foote s dramatic duo
