Viokery Oil and Development Company at the Court House
in Waxahachie Texas on Wednesday February 19th. at 2
o'clock F. M. for the purpose of arranging for final settle-
ment with Messrs. Dearing and Hoover for work done.
Each and «very stockholder is requested to be present or
give some one as proxy who will be present as business of
importance demanda your attention.
We failed to get a quorum last Wednesday.

T. A. Edwerds was able to be down
town today for the tirst time in near

to his room on account of a hurt sus-
tained in falling through a stock gap

The Wise Orchestra has been espec-
ially engaged to furnish music at Bob
Taylor's lecture next Saturday night.
This is a guarantee that an excellent
musical program will be rendered be
fore the lecture begins.
Mr. J. R. King has rented the build-
ing on College street formerly used as
a Salvation Ai my Hall and today be-
gan moving a stock of furniture into
it. This will give Mr. King thr«e
buiiciings for the accommodation of

A new wood yard bas been opened
by Messrs. McCaul & Young at the old
McCaul mill near the H & Τ. Ο. Ry.
This new firm will gladly supply yon

A. T. Cooke of Houston was here
j yesterday mingling with friends. Mr.
Cooke reporte that his brother who
was recently connected with the gen-
eral offices here died in Houston the
! other day. Young Cooke had been in

Mrs. Matilda Fletcher will deliver a
lecture at the C. P. church Thursday
nii»ht Feb. 20 at eight o'clock. Tbe
entertainment is given nnder tbe
auspices of the Young Ladles Auxili-
ary of the C. P. church. The lecturer
comes highly recommended from the
press and pulpit. Her subject ie—"Is

has about recovered her health which
was very poor when he moved there.
He is now moving to Ardmore I. T.
