The football game was discussed and
to arouse interest in the Pep Squad,
the yell leaders were asked to lead a
few yells.
Both the Glee Clubs sang our school
song which Mrs. Tate comi>osed for the
purpose of teaching it to the otl’.e1’

Suggestion for Improvements In Our
Classrooc ■>
Must every one know that psycholo-
gists tell us that if it person is com-
fortuble he is able to think more cleat-
ly about the subject at hand. There-
fore, it is easy to see that by making
the students more comfortable the i»er-
centnge of failures would decrease.
The arm chairs which we now have
could be traded in on larger uphols-
tered, velour covered ones with foot
and head rests. The extra cost would
be made up by the appreciation of the
students. The terrific heat common to
this section could be more easily borne
if each chair was equipped with mov-
able electric fans.
Another very convenient addition
would be water boys bearing ice water
and on Fridays orange ade. A short
intermission before and after classes
could be allowed for these boys to
serve the students. To make better
work possible before noon and before
school is Kiit, sandwiches or fresh
fruit could lie served about middle of
each session.

Football Game
A practice game of football was
played Friday afternoon by the Jave-
lins against the town team. The score
was 21 to 0 in favor of the town boys
The boys of the town team reported
that the high school boys are in much
better shape than the team was at this
time last year, and In spite of their
defeat, the hoys seem greatly encour-
aged and are showing more of their old
spirit.
