The bride and groom are both
graduates' of the Rocksprings High
School. During her high school
career, the bride was a member
of the band and twirler for four
years. She was active id Home Ec-
onomics, holding district and area
offices in the Future Homemakers
of America Chapter. She was on
the basketball team four years and
was chosen class favorite and foot-
ball sweetheart. In 1956 and 57 she
represented the Texas Angora Goat
Raisers Association as Miss Mo-
hair. She attended Trinity Univer-
sity in San Antonio last year and
one summer semester and plans
to continue her education at South-
west Texas State Teachers College
San Marcos. Mrs. Graham is maj-
oring in Elementary Education.
M r. Graham is a senior student
at Southwest Texas State Teach-
ers College and will receive a B.S: :
degree in Agricultural Education
next summer. Alter his graduation
from high school he attended
Southwest Texas Junior College
at Uvalde, Texas Technologic^! 1
College and Sul Ross College. He 1
has served two years in the Armed '
Forces with IK months of duty
overseas.
Following the marriage a dinner •
party was given tor the wedding 1
group.
Mr. and Mrs. Graham are now at 1
home at 445 Lindsay Street in San
Marcos'. i
Notice is hereby given th*t the
partnership between, W. A. Plum-
mer and Melvin L. Rossman, under
the firm name of “Smith Funeral
Home" and also under the firm
• name of "Plummer and Rossman”
was dissolved on the 6th day of
September, 1957. All debts due to
the said partnership are to be paid,
and those due from the same dis-
charged, at Smith Funeral Home,
Inc., Kerrville, Texas, and the busi-
ness operated in Rocksprings,
Edwards County, Texas, will be
continued by the said W. A. Plum-
mer under the firm name of “Smith
Funeral Home”.

MENARD, Sept. 11 — Thomas
W. Talbot, 3, retired ranchman
and stock farmer, died Wednes-
day evening, September 11th, at
the family home at Fort McKav-
eft, following a long illness.
Services were held at the St.
James’ Misson of the Calvary
Episcopal Church in Fort Mc-
Kavett. Burial was in Fort Mc-
Kavett Cemetery with Masonic
graveside rites.
Mr. and Mrs. Talbot celebrated
their golden wedding anniversay
in 1948. He was a resident of this
area since 1917.
Survivors include five daughters,
Mrs. Asa Tomlinson of Del Rio,
Mrs. Frances Fish of Fort Mc-
Kavett, Mrs. Charles Murr of
Cleo, Mrs. Ruth Lehne, of Uvalde,
and Mrs. Lawrence Williamson of
Menard; 17 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren. — San Angelo

The marriage of Miss Elizabeth
Ann Hough to Robert Gene Grah-
am was solemnized in the Laurel
Heights Methodist Church in San
Antonio, Monday evening, Septem-
ber 9th at 8 o’clock.
Dr. Howard H. Hollowed, pastor
of the church, officiated at the dou-
ble ring ceremony, which was per-
formed in a setting of arrangements
of white gladioli and white carna-
tions.
