Members of the school Isuird were
present at the Chniulier of Commerce

Prof. Fly stated that at first It was

Prof. Fly stated fhat with the pres-1

The Mexican schools are crowded be-

the morning uml the other half in the

the American school but they cannot
be taken In because there Is uo room.
Seventy pupils are enrolled in the
primary grade in old Mexico and 66
ate enrolled in the primary grade in
the Mexico Vhlro school. That gives
un idea of how crowded those grades
are.
Not to figure on any increase what-

Fly said it would be possible to get

room structure for the domestic
science department. Provision would
also have to Ik- made for the Mexicuu

Mr. Mercer usked at the Cbuniber of

committee to help hln, on getting ev-
eryone to $jgn the paving con tracts,
especially along the main streets, so
there would be no gups in .tin* 1 living.
He felt sure all wanted paving but a
few were holding off about signiug,
which had a tendency to delay the
program. He probably hud not been
able to explain eveiythtng fully.
The street work is going along fine.
Gruvel is now being placed on West
Zuvallu Street, and a number ol
streets are torn up on account of the
work, although practically all streets
are kept ojen to traffic.
