1927 officers were installed.

president; H. L. Ilarber, second
vice president: M. R. Carb, secre-
tary; H. Veal Jewell, treasurer,
and D. O. Miller and W. J. Halley,
directors.
On the subject. “Why 1927 Will
He the Greatest Year In the His-
tory of Fort Worth." H. C. Now-
lin, James M. Ellis. W. H. Green-
wood, H. L. Barber and E. E.
Aldridge, contestants In the ora-
torical contest, were declared
equal.

Methodist Church Woman's
Federation will meet in all-day
session Thursday at Central
Methodist Church. The session
will begin 9:30 a. m.
An inspiration program has
been planned.
Among the speakers at the
Federation meeting will be Rev.
C. Q. Smith, Methodist Hospital
commissioner; Mrs. R. O. Sory of
Boulevard Methodist Church, and
Mrs. Albert Fisher, who will
give a talk on “The Hold I,and.''
Mrs. Fisher has Just returned
give a talk on “The Holy Land.”

Rev. Lightfoot terms Borah’s
resolution as the “most logical
step to be taken as a means of
bringing ‘peace on earth, good
will toward men’.”
“It seeks to make of war a
crime, like slavery and duelling,"
Rev. Lightfoot explains.
International Court "to adju-
dicate offenses of various na-
tions" will also bo discussed in
the sermon.
This will be the sixth and last
of a series of sermons delivered
by Rev. Lightfoot on “The Con-
tribution of Christ to the World.’*
