brothers charged with the murder of

Thursday night Is to the effect that tho

but the fugitives broke through Their
capture within twenty four hours la
almost a certainty as there are posses
on all sides of them Preparations are
being made for any emergency as it
Is thought possible that the Taylors
friends may attempt to aid them In
which event a battle Is expected
The bodies o the four victims lie
In the morgue awaiting the coroners
order for burial
It ts now evident that the Taylors
at first onlv Intended to kill Meeks
himself The grave ut the old straw
stack In Taylors field waa prepared for
only one person but Mrs Mecks in
fear that something would happen to
her husband Insisted on going along
with her three children The eldest
a girl of 7 years Is the only survivor of
the tragedy
The baby was shot
through the lower temple evidently
while In Its mothers arms The sur-
viving girl a blight und Intelligent

burning the straw pile and some one

would smother but when they went
away I crawled out over papa and
mamma and went to Mr Carters
