Winter Pastures
Winter temporary pastures
are the only dependable source
of green grazing in late fall,
winter and early spring. Green
grazing permits lx*ef gains and
increased milk production dur-
ing the winter and reduces hay,
grain and veterninary bills.
Green pastures also cover the
soil and prevent washing and
blowing ami the roots add or-
ganic matter.
A combination of a grass or
small grain and a legume some-
times gives greater total pro-
duction. Included in such a
combination may In* oats, rye
or ryegrass and vetch.
The cargo tanks of Humble
Oil &. Refining Company’s new

fuel to fill the tanks of 890,000

That’s right... in addition to the
many other benefits of electric clothes
drying, a great part of your weekly wash goes straight to the dresser
— and not by way of the ironing hoard. All you do is set the dial
and enjoy yourself while Reddy does the work. Electric clothes
dry ers are gentle and automatic — giving you a sunshine-fresh load
every time. See electric clothes dryers at your dealer's now!

The use of electrk service grows and grows. It takes large sums of money
to build the facilities each year to keep ahead of the demand.

regularly said in the best manner passible by the executives of yew company,
who make this a regular part of their fob of furnishing tiptop service to the
