Proceedings of Board Meeting.
The Board of the Freestone
County Baptist Association met
with Corinth Baptist Church at
Dew. Jan. 27th and 2*th. 1911.
The introductory sermon was
preached by Eld. J. H. White,
after which dinner was served
on the ground.
After reading and prayer, the
Board was called to order by
Moderator J. W. Richardson,
and proceeded to business by
electing J. H. White to till va
cancy of Eld. W. B. Hansing.
Questions on program were
discussed.
1. How can our Fifth Sunday
Meetings best help the work of
the churches in the Association?

lowed by Eld. G. W. White and
Z. T. Womack.

2. Does the continued neglect
of celebrating the Lord’s Supper
in our churches affect their spir-

Elders. John Carney L. S. Bain,
G. W. White and J. W. Richard-
son.
Sermon by Eld. Carney at 11

The question of putting a mis-
sionary in the field in this Asso-
ciation was discussed, but there
being no man available, it was
decided to wait until the fifth
Sunday in April. The Modera-
tor, with the consent of the
Board, appointed a committee to
correspond with different minis-
ters, with a view of putting out
a missionary at the next meet-
ing of the Board, which will be
held with the Ward Prairie
church, beginning at 10:00 a. m.,
Friday, Apr. 28. We urge that
all churches be represented.
Thanking the Corinth church
for their hospitality we ad-
journed.

stone county—Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to
summon Richard Smith by mak-
ing publication of this citation
once in each week for four suc-
cessive weeks previous to the
return day, in some newspaper
published in your county, if
there be a newspaper published
therein, but if not, then Id any
newspaper published in the 13th
Judicial District; but if there be
no newspaper published in said
Judicial District, then in a news-
paper published in the nearest
District to said 18th Judicial
District, to appear at the next
regular term of the District
Court of Freestone County, to
be holden at the Courthouse
thereof, in Fairfield, on the 2d
Monday in February, 1911, the
same being the 13th day of Feb-
ruary, 1911, then and there to
rnswer a petition filed in said
Court on the 17th day of Janua-
ry, 1911, in a suit numbered on
the docket of said Court, No.
4429, wherein Leila Smith is
plaintiff, and Richard Smith is
defendant, and said petition al-
leging that: Leila Smith, who
resides in Freestone county,
Texas, hereinafter called plain-
tiff, complaining of Richard
Smose place of residence is un-
known to plaintiff, and hereinaf-
ter called defendant; and for
cause of action plaintiff repre-
sents to the Court that she is a
bona fide resident of the State of
Texas, and has resided in said
county of Freestone, for at least
six months next preceding the
filing of this petition.
That on the — day of January,
1906, plaintiff waa lawfully mar-
ried to defendant, that they con-
tinued to live together as hus-
band and wife until on or about
the 22d day of July, 1900, when
defendant left without any pro-
vocation on the part of plaintiff;
that the defendant Is a fugitive
from justice and has not contrib-
uted towards the support
plaintiff
and for such other and further
relief, both special and general,
in law and in equity, tjiat she
may be entitled to, etc.
HereinTatt not, bat have be-
fore said Court, at its aforesaid
next regular term, this writ
with ypor return thereon, show-
ing hoiv you have executed the
same.
Given under my hand and the

Fairfield, this the 17th day of
