Nearly all the farmers have
caught up with their work and

Mr. J. S. Wilson and family

Mr. Otto Pearce is working
for his brother, Mr. W. B. Pearce,

eve. and at Prairie View the 3rd
Sunday. Everyone come.
Messrs. T. W. and Otis White
left Wednesday for Colorado.
They are looking for a location
but we expect them back in a-

Beautiful weather last week;
very much enjoyed by all.
The farmers are busy plowing
and chopping cotton. All thrash-
ers are running day and night.
Crops are looking fine but
farmers are uneasy about tMeir
corn if it doesn’t rain in • few
days it will burn up.
Misses Lillian Houston, Annie
Farr and Little Frances Haile
spent Friday in Sabinai.
A crowd of Knippa people
spent Sunday picnicing on the
river. All report a fine time.
Bro. Rubottom preached at the
schools house Sunday night. But
as the farmers are so busy tney
decided to put the meeting off
until the 4th Sunday in this
month. However, Bro. Rubottom
will fill his regular appointment
next Sunday, June 14th at 11
o’clock in the morning and 3
o’clock in the afternoon.
Mrs. Meadows, who has been
visiting in Knippa, it now visit-
ing in Sabinai.
Mrs. A. K. Houston went to
Sabinai today to spend a few
days with relatives.
Mr. Tom Jones spent Friday
at the ranch near Spofford. ,
