VOLUME THIRTY-TWO ROCKSPRINGS, TEXAS, FRIDAY MARCH 24TH, 1950 NUMBER TEN
Senior Play Well
Received By
Large Audience
The Rocksprings Seniors of 1950
put on an excellent performance last
Friday evening, when they presented
their play, “Three Days of Grace.”
The students cleared $125.00 on the
play, which will he used to finance
their trip to the Carlsbad Caverns
sometime this spring.
The class knew their parts per-
fectly and portrayed each character
in a delightful way. It was a very en-
tertaining play, that fitted the num-
ber of students in* the class. Many
times it is hard to secure a play that
has the same number of characters as
students in a senior class.
It was a good play, well acted out,
and was enjoyed by a large atten-
dance.

I’d get in my stride . . .

LOCAL MEN GET WRITE-UP
IN NATIONAL MAGAZINE
Drug Topics, the national newspa-
per for retail druggists over the Unit-
ed States featured two of our local
men in its columns the last of Feb-
ruary. The story tells of our home
town druggist, Dan McKnight, and
County Agent, A. A. Storey. A pic-
ture shows Mr. Storey. Mr. McKnight
and W. W. Sherrill discussing live-
stock problems in Mr. Me Knight’s
vet section of his Rocksprings store.
The story goes that the county does
not suffer too much for the lack of
a veterinarian as these two men are
on hand to advise the ranchers on
what vaccines and serums they will
be needing, and on other livestock
problems.
The McKnight Drug Company
specializes in animal health products
and carries a complete line of veterin-
ary necessities for the breeding and
raising of Angora goats, cattle and
sheeft.
