Shiner is a good town thore i
r juo question about that It is a
good town in movo uays than one
It is avgood business town and is
inhabited by good people they aro
generous social and lawabiding
Sonu of us areeminently satisfied
with our town in fact the popula-
tion of Shiner as awbolo aro proud
of the little Piairio Queen City It
ia poss iMo that there is a few
tljoUgh very few who may not be
uisfied with 5 r fiee and liberal
institutions If so they should not
jiii y tho dog in the manger act and
i > vl and growl aod cwbo every
onoelse feci unpleasant but should
quietly pack up and move into a
moie congenial community Of
course this is the best way to fix
the matter If yon want to havo a
certainlaw enforced and find that
tho majority of the people of your
town aro with you go ahead and
put it through But if on the other
hand you find that the people aro
about ono hundred to one against
you why keep still or else tako our
advico given above This is not
intended to offend anyone but
merely as words of friendly advice
