Fred Daijy, who died at her home
near here March 23. Services were

Brown, two sons, Jess and Clar-
ence Daily, all of Loving. Burial
was in Hawkins Chapel cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Allen of Wich-
ita Kalis visited relatives here last
week.
Floyd Burdick of Iowa Park has
been ill at the home of his parents.

county Interscholastic League meet
last week, winning several first
places and a number of second and

Mrs. Mattie Dickenson has re-
turned from Tuscola and Albany
where she has been for an extend-

following a lingering illness of sev-
eral months. Services were con-

church. Besides the widow, sur-

home of Mrs. Jess Shepard Thurs-
day for a quilting.

We have had a good rain in this
community. It is reported that the
grain will probably make with this

Several people of Huffstuttle rode
the school bus to Woodson Monday
night to see the show “The Girl of
the Limber Lost.’’ ‘
A sing-song was enjoyed at the
school house Wednesday night by
the people. The Crystal Falls peo-
ple lot us borrow an organ until
we could get one. We thank them
very much for their kindness.
Those visiting in the home of
Mrs. Willie Peacock Friday were
Mrs. Ruth Peacock, and Marie
Hardin.
Mra. Jeff Jones was in Brecken-
ridge Thursday on business.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Peacock are

few days.
Warren Peacock came in from
Arizona a few days ago.
Mrs. A. B. Peacock and little

Everyone was very proud of the
nice rain last week-end. The grain
ci op will soon show the results.
Homer Lea Habithacur is improv-
ing nicely, but is having to remain
in bed for some time.
We were pretty well satisfied
with the way the literary event
pupils came oUt last week. The
track boys are really practicing for
the coming field events.
The lower grades are planning on
a big picnic April Fool's Day.
The young people's social was
put off on account of bad weather.

few days with scarlet, fever, but is
now reported, on the road to recov-
ery.
Jake Dunham visited in Dallas
and It. Worth Wednesday and
Thursday.
Brysori townspeople are the proud
owners of a new fire truck, They
had a chance to prove its worth
last Saturday morning when the}
garage at the home of C. Clayton
burned. The new fire equipment
helped to save his home despite low
water pressure.
