WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Belcher
celebrated their Golden Wedding
Anniversary at the Medina Youth
Center on November 7, 1970. Mr.
and Mrs. Belcher were married in
Fulton, Arkansas and now reside
in Clyde, Texas. They have 48
descendants.
All their children were present
for the celebration except two

Last Sunday Mrs. Lorena
Coose entertained with an early
Christmas dinner in her home, a
custom of the family of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mayfield. A
delicious traditional Christmas
dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Mayfield of Bandera. Mr.
and Mrs. Marvin Evans ot Austin,
Mrs. Linnie Lackey of Johnson
City, Miss Donna Mayfield and
Mr. and Mrs, C; C- Allen of
Medina.
Afterwards the. group gathered
Sonny Walker was taken back
to M. D. Anderson Hospital in
Houston. Monday. We hope he will
soon be feeling much better.

unable to come to the tax office
in person, forins may be requested

Upon receipt of completed

prepared and mailed to applicants.

Medina are among over 900
scholarship recipients at Abilene
Christian College this semester.
They are Lauren and Clifton
Fuller, of Medina Children’s
Home at Medina, Texas. Both are
graduates of Medina High School.
Scholarships are awarded on a
basis of academic achievement,
character and need.
