SEVENTH GRADE NEWS
By Darlene Hagen and
Barbara Ray
The seventh class had a Math
test Thursday, Jan. 4. We^ot the
papers back today and everyone
made good grades. Mr. Jones was
fiery pleased with them.

school after the Christmas holi-
days, but “we dread mid-term tests,
which come next week.
We are reviewing for mid-term
tests. We hope we make good, but

Our English Club elected
officers today: Dale Lancaster,

club meets each Friday afternoon
at our regular English period.
Billy Ray Dawson had to visit
the dentist today and we miss him.
Oh! Today is David Sidney Atch-
ley’s birthday. I know we will
have a surprise, we always do when
some one has a birthday on school
days. Dale Lancaster’s birthday
is next Tuesday. Mrs. Eula Peal
always helps Mrs. Magouirk with

Now that nights are longer, most of your children’s
activities will take place indoors. Studying, reading,
playing, all involve active use of the eyes. Their eye-
sight is precious ... good light is cheap, so don’t take
chances with poor light. You, too, should be careful
with your ey^s—when you read, work or sew.

Electricity is so cheap that you can use it day and night
—for only a jew pennies. For what you get, electricity
is still the biggest bargain in your family budget.
