Col. Wm. Cooper returned from
tho coast several days ago. They
report a nico time plenty of fish
to cat while there.
Tliero was a party at Mr Alex
Wccms' last Friday night.- The
young pcoplo report a very nice
time except some of tho hoys had
a little too much of that which
mado them a little drowsy
Thero was preaching at the
Primitive Baptist church last Sat-
urday and Sunday. Also at tho
Missionary church Saturday night
and Sunday.
Mr. Clark will soon have his new
house at tho Instituto completed.
Cupid's dart had piorcod their
hearts and now Wo know it.
Our Sunday School is progressing
woll; it has such good leaden". Tho
people can't help going but sonic of
them can't bo satisfied with Old
Moulton. They have to go over to
New Moulton and help the igno-

Our worthy postmaster has had
his spouso here for a few days from
Sandy Fork thero not yet being
thorough family accomodations

nursing and cheering Mrs. Ilaynes
in her illness from tho buggy acci-

stitute Friday night with a full

On Saturday tho crowd of horse-
men and horsowomen thirsty and

This young gentleman although

Health is very good now.

Some of tho farmers aro making
preparations to raiso another crop
of that valuable thirty-fivo cent
corn and six cent cotton. They
say that If cotton will only stay up
one more year they will havo
enough means to do them for somo
time and then they aro willing to
rustic from then on.
School is getting along nice and
smooth at Stonewall now. Wo ex-
pect to havo a concert about Christ-
mas. Stockmen's hearts are heating
loud and fast.
Wisdom Grant colored will
have plenty of water soon rain or
no rain. Ho ntarftd in to dig a
well tho other day and has got it
down seven feet up to date without
