party which shows quilting patties

McCarty Services
Last rites were held for Mrs.
W. F. McCarty. 51, Monday after
noon at 3 p.m. Rev. Blackshear of
Austin conducted the services.
Mrs. McCarty died of a heart
attack at her home Sunday after
noon. She was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Carr. A
native of OchlocknCe, Georgia, she
moved to Clairette with her par
ents when she was a child. Mrs.
McCarty arms married to W. F.
McCarty in Muleshoe in 1926 and
they were the parents of f<
children, two ef whom survive.
She has been a member of the
Primitive Baptist Church since
1931.
Besides her husband she is sur-
vived by two bobs, Duane of Mid-
land aad Billy of Clairette; torn
step-children, Mr*. Peru PuiHn Of
MeAdoo, Mr*. Maggie Pear Henson
of Fort Stockton, Clayton McCarty
of Big Spring and Laron McCarty
of Spur; five brothers and three
sisters.
Pallbearers were Lilburu Har-
vey, Newman Young, Farris Me
Carty. Mack Ragsdale, James and
Robert Michal.
Interment waa made at the
Clairette cemetery under the direc-
tion of the Barrow-Rutledge Fun-
eral Home of Hico.
