WELCOME
TO TEXAS
Texas is known for its many attractions -scenic, recreational, industrial,
scientific and artistic. Perhaps, however, the greatest attraction is the genu-
ine friendliness, hospitality and willingness to please that examplifies Tex-
ans everywhere.
For those who will take time to travel around our State, there is no more
diverse a land anywhere. You will find the pleasures of the seashore, the
mountains, the plains and the great forests. And you will find some of the
finest inland bodies of water for recreation in the world.
Mostly, for Texans and out-of-state visitors alike, you will find that you are
welcome.
