5 acres in the very heart of Burkburnett famous gusher pool. Gushers east, northeast, north,
northwest and southwest. There is a j*ood 99 per cent chance for the average production surrounding the5 acres.
The Marine Co., 5,000 feet north sold for three million ($3,000,000.00) dollars. The Humble Oil Co., 3-4 mile north
west, one-half interest sold for two million ($2,000,000.00) dollars. Acreage in a few hundred yards of this five
acres sells for $10,000 to $50,000 per acre. The wells produce 500 to 3,000 barrels daily, production 2,000 to 3,000
feet surrounding this 5 acres as described above.
The 24 acres 6 3-4 miles northwest of the famous Knowells, Duke and Hog Creek gushers in
the Ranger field. The Epler well is only 3 1-2 miles of the 24 acres, considered one of the best in the
field. Several deep tests are being made now in 1 and 2 miles of the 24 acres. Acreage is selling for $500 per
acre in this vicinity and will be only a short time until (he 24 will lie worth $1,500 to $2,000 per acre.
The 200 acres near the wells at Abilene has an excellent prospect for oil as any prospective
field in Texas. The Putman well being only about 30 miles east of Abilene. This well with tools in it flowed
over. This well is 3800 feet, striking Ranger sand, acreage jump to $500 per acre.
