A. J. Blohm and L. G. Valent*
•drove in from San Antonio with
a handsome “1925” Nash roads-
ter for the New Year. It was
bought through the local agent
W. G. Tomasco. They do say it
is a peach of a car.
The Christmas trees and pro-
grams by the Methodist and
Lutheran Sunday Schools were
rendered despite the heaviest
mantel of sleet and ice that had
visited this section in thirty
years.

Pepsinated Calomel Is
Better than the Old-
Time Sickening Kind
It is gentle, imported English
Calomel, combined with Pepsin and
other helpful ingredients. It is mild
but certain, causing no harshness or
unpleasantness and will absolutely
relieve indigestion, billiousness, bad
colds, constipation and sick headaches.
And best of all it does it at once—
quickly and pleasantly. Take one
small tablet at bed-time and you will
get up hungry and feeling fine. Rec-
ommended by

The\Gazette is very sorry to
report that Werner E. Muecke
suffered a nervous breakdown at
Louisville University about
Thanksgiving.-, He and Oscar
did not expect.to.come home for
Christmas and at Werner’s re-
quest his family was not notified.
He was so hopeful of resuming
his studies. His condition grew
worse and Oscar brought him to
Cuero last week. His physicians
think he will not be able to re-
sume bis medical course until
next fail. His friends will re-
gret this very much as Werner
was in his senior year. Oscar
returned to Louisville.,
Mr. F. J. Scblopota of Bell-
villeis now connected with the
Wolteis Bros. Bank. His family
will follow later.
