three years. She was a mem-
ber of the Hope Lutheran
Church, a member of the
American Cancer Society and
the County Antique Car Club.
Pat rids is survived by her
husband: Glenn Bundy of Co-
manche, her mother and step-
father. Lucille and Henry Litz-
man of Cameron; three sone:
Graham Fuchs of Comanche,
Patrick Fuchs of San Mar-
cos and Steve Bundy of San
Antonio; One daughter Sue
Hubell of Dallas; one brother:
Doug Marburger of Cameron;
one sister Barbara Hairston

and Ollie Mode of Cameron;

preceded in death by her fa-

Lutheran Church in Comanche
with Clay McCord officiating.

the Oak Hill Cemetery in
Cameron, Ihzas, at 6:00 p.m,

James F. Fanning, 80, of
Comandie passed away at 1:40
a.m. Wednesday, March 22,
1996 after an extended illnees.
He was born February 10,
1914, in Sulphur Springs,
Ihzas, the son of the late R. W.
and Callie Jeffries Fanning.
Mr. Fanning was married to
Charisie Woodruff, September
16, 1944. He graduated from
State
____Tbachera
College in Commerce, Ihzas
in 1988. He attended the
University of Ihzas School of
Law in Austin and graduated
from South Ihzas College of
Law, Houston, Ihzas, in 1949.
He served in the U.S. Army
from 1943 to 1946 as an
agent in the Security Intelli-
gence Corps and Counter In-
telligence Corps in the Service
Command of Fort Holshird,
Baltimore, Maryland, and in
Washington D.C.
Prior to military service, he
was a newspaper reporter in
Austin, Ihzas and Amarillo,
Ihzas. He had also been an
investigator for the State De-
partment of Public Welfare in
Borger, Ihzas. He worked in
the Land Department of Stan-
dard Oil Company of Ihzas
from 1946-1949. He practiced
law in Comanche, Ihzas from
1949 until the time of his re-
tirement in 1986, during which
time he served as County At-
torney in 1963 and from 1967
until 1961.
He was a member of the
Ihzas State Bar Association,
past President of the 62nd
Judicial District Bar Asso-
ciation, various State Bar
Committees, past Chairman
of the Board of Trustees of
the First United Methodist
Church, Masonic Lodge, and
various Civic Organizations.
Fuming is survived by his
wife; Charisie, two daughters;
Catherine Fanning of Mexico
City, Mexico, Martha Carter
of Abilene, one son; James
Fanning of Arlington and five
grandchildren; Lance Carter,
Peter Cervantes, Michael Pfen-
ning, Daniel Fanning Lau-
ren Fanning, and several nieces
and nephews.
Graveside funeral services
are scheduled for 2:00 pan.

in the Comanche Gardens
of Memory, frith Dr. Russell
Martin and Judge James Mor-
gan officiating. Funeral ar-
rangements are under the di-

Mrs. Luella Levisay, age
87, of Newburg passed away
Wednesday, Mardi 22, 1996
at 7:86 p.m. in the Comanche
Community Hospital.
She was the daughter of
the late Buster and Emma
McCXirdy Johnson, and was
bom on June 26, 1907 in Co-
manche County. She married
Mr. George Raymond Levisay
on October 6, 1928 in Co-
manche. He preceded her in
death on July 21, 1989. Mrs.
Levisay was a member of the
South Leon Baptist Church in
Newburg.
Survivors include one son:
Charles Ray Levisay of New-
burg; one brother Willie Mac
Johnson of Newburg; two
grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

South Leon Baptist Church

Otis was born November 24,
1902 in Grayson County and
had been a resident of Big
Lake since 1927. He was a
mechanic and welder, and was
the owner of OIC Magnito
Service. He was a member
of the First Christian Church
and the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Otis was married to Fay Ivy
in Brady, and she preceded
him in death in 1984.
Survivors include his daugh-
ter, MarineU Glidewell of Mid-
land; three grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren; one step
great-granddaughter; and one
sister, Alda Arthur of Co-
manche at 2:00 p.m., Thurs-

Mr. AJ. Nelson Jr., age
78 of Comanche passed away
Sunday, March 26, 1996 at
11:46 a.m. in the Brownwood
Regional Hospital.
Mr. Nelson was the eon
of the late AJ. and Mattie
Elizabeth Payton Nelson, and
was bora on December 7,
1916 in Comanche County. He
married Miss Pat Pettijohn
cm September 28, 1936 in
Comanche. Mr. Nelson was a
carpenter and a member of the
Board Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife,
Pat Nelson of Comanche, Ihzas;
two sons, Doyce Nelson of
•Zephyr, Thxas and Sherman
Nelson of Austin, Thxas; one
sister, Lorene Barcroft of Ham-
ilton, Thxas; 6 grandchildren
and 6 great grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Nelson were
held Tiesday, March 28, 1996
at 2:00 p.m. in the Comanche
Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Bob Hayes and Rev.
Buddy Selmon officiating. In-
terment was held in the Board
Church Cemetery under the di-
rection of the Comanche Fu-
neral Home.
Mrs. Arthur and her son,
James Robert Arthur attended
the services.
Mrs. Fisher was born in
Comanche on July 11, 1926
to Delmer and Pearl Albin
McDaniel. In 1964 she was
married in South Dakota to
Richard Fisher. He preceded
her in death on January 10,
1996.
She was a homemaker, grad-
uated from Comanche High
School and attended Thxas
Christian University. She Hnri
lived in Brownwood for the
past ten years and was active
in community and church af-
fairs. She was a member of
Union Presbyterian Church in
Brownwood.
She is survived by one
daughter: Melissa Truncate of
Springfield, New Jersey; one
son; Charles Greve III of
Santa Rosa, California; and
her parents; Pearl and Delmer
McDaniel of Brownwood.
