Misa Whittinghill's wedding is
postponed on account of tho very
serious illness of her mother.
On Thursday evening Mr. Ed-
ward William Fran and Miss Mag-
gie Lsftwitoh were married leaving
immediately for Chicago. They
will be at homo after July first in
Santa Fe New Mexico where the
groom is engaged in the hardware
business.
At :30 Wednesday cveuing at
the First Baptist ohuroh sir. Miles
Martin aud jib Lila Johnson are
to be married. An elegant reception
at the home of the bride will follow.

On Tuesday Miss Helen Smith
as charming a girl as ever visited
Waco returned to her home in
Austin accompanied by Miss Har-
ris. Miss Smith made a pronounced
sooial success and received an un-
usual amount of marked attention
and her departure is a source of
general regret.
A unique feature of the CrowduB-
Olive wedding will be the registra-
tion book in which each guest at
the church will leave an autograph
the book to be retained by the bride
as a souvenir. Handsome souvenirs
are to be presented to each guest
and Renick's orchestra aad a full
choir will furnish the music.
Goggan's Music Hall has been
enlarged to almost double its size
and under the personal supervision
of Mr. C. C. D.-Z niche will be fit.
ted up in elegant and artistic style.
It will be particularly adapted for
amateur performances concerts and
recitals as the dressing rooms
scenery stage fittings and acous-
tics are all tha can be desired.

On Thursday at 4 o'clock at the
residence of Dr. J. C. J. King Mr.
J. K. Daniels of Fort Worth and
Miss Willie King were married
Rev. Dr. S A. King performing
the oeremony. Only relatives were
present. Announcement cards were
issued after the wedding. The hap-
py pair left for Denver and Manitou
and will be at home after Aurust
1st at 10S Fahey Avenue Fort
Worth.
Last Saturday at the A. k M.
college Bryan Rev. William Wil-
son Dellart delivered the com-
mencement sermon and it is spoken
of as one of his finest efforts. His
final exhortation to the graduating
class was most touching and effect-
ive and appealed strongly to the
hearts of his hearers. Mr. DeHart
is gifted with rare eloquence and a
magnetism that few can equal and
none surpass.
Miss Hortense Alexander who
has just returned from school has
taken society by storm. She is an
extremely bcaitiful brunette with
suoh strikingly graoeful bearing
that one would scarce think her a
debutante. She is to leave in a few
weeks for Chicago to spend some-
time and from there is to go east
to complete her mueioal studies for
