Note: I have carefully copied every statement, punctuation mark, format
and spelling of every name and date, exactly as it appears in this Bible.
Three pages hgave been torn from the back of the Bible, so the last whole
page is a left-hand, and printed on the top margin is "Exhortations to be
heavenly minded - Colossians - of brotherly kindness, etc."
There are commentaries printed on the side margins of every page in the
Bible for the instruction and guidance of the reader, and there are many
notes and markings made by various readers which show it to have been
much used, read and loved.
The Bible measures 5-1/2" x 8-3/4". It is 3" thick, and weighs 4 lbs.
The brown leather appearing paper over brown cloth cover and binding is
still intact although it has suffered some water damage. It shows signs
of much handling and reading with much love, and is an inspiration to
behold.
