At the meeting of the General G0evance Committee held in Denison, TexasFebruary
21st to 25th,inclusive, motion was made and passed that the General Grievence Committee
go on record in favor of the consolidation of the Texas Central District and
Smithville District fireman, if the two seniority districts affect1ie can make a sati-
sfactory agreement on same, this to be known as the 11th district.
Fireman com 1.ng from the Texas Central to Smithville Dsitrict, when consolidating the
two districts, will have prior rights to any assignment on the former Texas Central
District on seniority basis,
Fireman who decline to ex cept assignment on the former Texas Central district where
they have prior rights ,will lose their prior rights on that district,
If and when the consolidation becomes effective, all fireman on Texas Central District
will be given seniority date on Smithville District following the youngest fireman
on seniority list on Smithville District.
And, all fireman on Smithville District will be given seniority date on Texas
Central District following the youngest fireman on seniority list on Texas
Central District,
If and when the consolidation becomes effectve,therewkll be but one seniority roster
and all rules of schedule dealing with fireman will be applicable to fireman, and all
promotion rul. es to remain in effect as required by Schedule, on each district,

District fireman for consolidation of these two districts, and approved by
the General Grievance Committee, creating a seniority district to be known
as the Smithville Seniority District for Fireman.
Each fireman will cast a ballot by placeing an X in the square if in
favor of this consolidation, or place an X in the square if against it.
