team on top over Highlands, 56-54.
The Baytown team has remained
undefeated In their five district
games.
Julia Schnleder had 22 points for
Baytown, Thomas had 18. Tonya
Hebert pulled In 18 rebounds, as
Thomas had 15.
Phelltra Barnes hit 22 points for
Highlands, teammate Patrina Baker
had 16. Good defensive effort was put
out by Donna Kemplay and Robin
Gross.
The Highlands “B” team defeated
Baytown, 25-12.

The “A” Bears took a 52-22 victory
from the Green Goslins. Michelle
Bonczynski and Monica Mlchon both
scored 10 points for Cedar Bayou,
while Kellie Jordan and Kim Moseley
added eight apelce. Moseley recorded
six steals and Julieanna Raphael had
five. Mlchon and Latorshia Diggles
both grabbed 10 rebounds.
Regina Taylor scored 10 points for
Horace Mann, while Judy Hodgson
added six. Laura Crain brought down
17 caroms and Regina Taylor three. 1
The Cedar Bayou “B” team took a
19-14 victory. Kristi Reese scored
eight points for the Bears, while Lauri
Sanders added six and Charlotte Col-
eman four. Sanders and Lynnea
Green grabbed eight rebounds and

the team in steals.
Angie Branch led the Goslins with
eight points and nine rebounds, while
Joy Ball added four points.

Kelly Cline hit 10 points and nabbed
four steals to lead Cedar Bayou. She
was followed by Karen Johnson with
seven points, 12 rebounds and six
steals. Zainab Uahi had 12 rebounds,
as Danielle Wolfe had seven.
Mann’s Audrey Malone hit five
points and had six steals, Nikki
Lawson had nine rebounds and 11
steals.

managed to defeat Horace Mann, 18-
