MONT BELVIEU — Sometime after 10:40 p.m. July 30
and before 6:45 a.m. July 31. vandals broke into Barbers Hill
High School and Barbers Hill Middle School, smashing com-
puter screens, television screens, other electronic equipment,
glass windows and doors, and musical instruments.
Also, a videocassette recorder was taken.
The total damage ran into the thousands of dollars. Evidence
indicates that one of the intruders may have inflicted wounds
on his or her arm or hand when reaching through the broken
glass. I
A $500 reward is being offered for any information leading
to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons

In addition, a $1,000 reward is being offered by Chambers
County Crimcstoppers.
