It has often been said that the cemetery in a community
reflected the character, spirit and pride of the people living
in that community. Our own Oddfellow Cemetery certainly re-
flects well upon our community. Under the conscientious and
diligent effort of Dennis Jones, caretaker, supported by the
Oddfellows, the local cemetery reflects great credit upon our
community.
Mr. Jones has been doing a superior job in making the
Oddfellow Cemetery e beautiful spot. It would be a credit to any
community.
We are fortunate indeed in the devoted care given to all
cemeteries in our county. Every community in Panola County
has well cared for cemeteries.
Our Pat-on-thc-back this week goes to Caretaker Dennis
Jones, the Oddfellows and all others who have contributed
towards making the local cemetery one in which we can take
pride. And to all communities that have well cared for ceme-
teries, a special pat-on-the-back.
