HIDE FIRM SUED BY OPS
Tanners Hides Inc, of Texas, of
908 South Medina Street, San Anto-
nio, is named defendant in an injunc-
tive suit filed in U. S. district coui t
by the federal government alleging
over-ceiling price sales of cattle
hides.
The suit, filed for the Office of
Priee Stabilization, seeks an injunc-
tion to restrain the defendant from
further alleged violations and asks
judgment for treble the amount of the
alleged overcharges. The government
seeks treble damages amounting to
$10,742.94.
OPS pointed out that the alleged
violations occured* prior to removal
last month of cattle hides, kips and
calf skins from price control.
