District Office of Pidce Stabiliza-
tion officials this week urged new
car dealers to post ceiling prices in
their showrooms as required by OPS
regulations.
Failure to post 18 by 24-inch signs
displaying a breakdown of their ceil-
I ing price charges, is as serious a
i violation of OPS regulations as fail-
ure to file specified information with
the district OPS office, offcials said.
OPS also pointed out that the ser-
vice and conditioning fee charged by
the dealer must not exceed 5 per cent
j of the basic price of the new car, or
j the charge that the dealer had in
1 effect during the period Jan. 26 to
I Feb. 24, 1951, whichever is lower.
Madre, and to reduce the salinity of j
the waters in the Laguna Madre.
The pass which was cut by a :
dredge is shallow and is not expected j
to be deeper than three feet. Use of j
the pass by boats is not recommended, .
according to the Executive Director
of the Game and Fish Commission.
The last 80 feet of the Pass, left
on the Gulfside, was swept out by a
high tide and by waves caused by a
norther. It had been planned to blast
the final portion.
A makeshift cable ferry has been
placed in the pass to accomodate es-
sential traffic. It is self operated.

End Chronic Dosing! Regain Normal
Regularity This All-Vegetcble Way!
