“High Pressure” — William
Powell and Evelyn Brent take
the cake and everything else in
this new First National picture.
Powell has a new role, and is
said to attain high rank as a
comedian in portraying a high
pressure salesman. In “High
Pressure” he actually gets a
Woman’s Roles-Royce from her
and she says she hopes he
comes back for more. What a
man! From another he takes
her home, but he satisfies her,
too. “High Pressure” is said to
be the best vehicle for Powell
since talkies.

COLORED NEWS.
Numbers of people have asked, "W-hat makes Admira-
tion taste so deliciously difierent from ail otlaeg
coffees?” . . . The principal teatfon is the blend. BuC
what does the blend mean?
It means that Admiration is made up of ss.yei.ai
different varieties of coffees. Coffees grown in dirfe/nnt:
countries have flavors all of their own. No one of then*
alone is particularly pleasing. So they are blended.
When rhe taste of your coffee depends upon the
right coffees being blended together, it is easy to*
understand why there is such a difference in coffee?.
The Admiration blend is a secret formula. So natur-
ally we can’t tell you its proportions. But we can telf.
you that only the. finest coffees, from the best coffee,
producing countries in the world, go into the Admira-
tion blend. And those coffees are selected by a scientific
method known as Cup-tesfin No other method will
insure a uniform blend.
The Admiration blend never varies.
The last cup of Admiration tastes just
as deliciously, different as the first cup.
Ask your grocer for
a can, and learn this
for yourself.

the Sunday school, reciting and
singing songs. Little Margaret
Tyson was mistress of ceremo-

their parts well. There was quite
a crowd out to witness the well
arranged program.
Rev. W. H. Cannon, pastor of
the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church,
came in Saturday and held a
business meeting Saturday.
Sunday was a high day at Mt.
Pilgrim. The visitor preached
two very well prepared' sermons.
He made known their intention
to begin building their new
