Teneyuca, age 27 years, was
held at 10 a m Wednesday,
February 1, 1978 from Cotulla
Sacred Heart Catholic Church
with Rev Thomas Kavanaugh,
CM. Celebrant Rosary was
recited on Tuesday evening at
6:30 p m at the Hearn Chapel.
Interment was in Cristo Rey
Cemetery
Mr Teneyuca was born in
Cotulla on October 13, 1950 and
he died on January 29. 1978 A
life time resident of Cotulla, he
attended Cotulla Public Schools
and was employed as a truck
driver He married Miss Maha
Cruz in Cotulla on January 20,
1970
Survivors are his widow, Mrs.
Maria C Teneyuca of Cotulla;
sons. Alberto and Angel and
daughter Ruby all of Cotulla;
parents Mr and Mrs.
Candelario Teneyuca;
brothers, Guadalupe, Jose and
Jesus; sisters, Mrs. Emma
Miranda. Mrs. Juana Casillas,
Mrs Mana Elvia Gutierrez,
Mrs Venita Ramirez and Mrs
Diana Gonzalez all of Cotulla.

This is especially true of
wildlife foods such as nuts,
acorns and other mast The
hogs are able to utilize such a
high percent of this valuable
wildlife food that other species,
especially the white-tailed deer,
suffer severe food shortages.
The feral hogs offer a real
challenge to the hunter They
are wily, can move like a ghost
through the deep underbrush,
and they are hard to kill On the
other hand, once a hunter has
bagged a hog he has some of the
finest meat available. When
compared to pork bought in a
market it is hard to realize that
they are basically from the
same animal

years, was bom March7. 1896 in
Cotulla and he passed away on
January 26. 1978 at the Baptist
Memorial Hospital in San
Antonio
A life resident of Cotulla, Mr
Mendez, was employed as a
automobile mechanic He was a
veteran of World War I when he
served with the United States
Army and was an active
member of the Woodman of the
World Association
He was married to Miss
Enedina Martinez in June of
1921 in Cotulla
Rosary was recited Friday at
7 p m in the Hearn Chapel
Requiem Mass was celebrated
on Saturday at 10 a m. at
Cotulla Sacred Heart Catholic
church with Rev. Thomas
Kavanaugh. CM, Celebrant
Interment was in the Cris’o Rey
Cemetery under direction of
Hearn Funeral Home
Survivors are his widow
Mrs Enedina M Mendez of
Cotulla; son, Tomas M Mendez
Jr and daughter Mrs Minerva
Cardenas both of San Antonio;
seven grandchildren and two
great grandchildren; brothers,
