Iris and Laurie Brigmon,
Lytle and Carl Arche all of San
Antonio sang “Whither Thou
Goest" The candles were lit by
Coy Taylor of Cotulla, and
Perry Holmsley of Ozona,
cousins of the bride.
The bride entered on her
fathers arm in a beautiful gown
with a high neck, long sleeves
trimmed with pearls, lace and
on the flowing train were lace
flowers She wore a matching
hat Her bouquet was made of
white daisies, roses, and irises
and long white ribbons which
were attached small white
daisies with yellow centers.
The maid of honor and
bridesmaids & flower girl wore
matching yellow satin flowing
dresses with yellow sheer
delight crapes They wore
white and yellow flowers in
their hair and carried bouquets
of yellow carnations and white
daisies with yellow and white
streamers. The flower girls
carried a white basket with
yellow pedals
The groom wore a green
tuxedo, with all other at-
tendants wearing brown
The brides mother was
gowned in a green knit with long
chiffon sleeves with a V
necKiine. ner corsage was an
orchid The grooms mother
wore a pink skirt and white
blouse with a pair of matching
pink beads and her corsage
was an orchid.
After the ceremeny there was
a garden reception at the home
of Helen Storey One serving
table had a deputy sher-
iff centerpiece with cactus and
appropriate flowers On the
main serving table there was a
large arrangement of yellow
and white flowers in tall brass
stands The food was served in
silver, brass and crystal dishes
The brides table was covered
with a yellow cloth with overlay
of net with small yellow bows
attached The centerpiece
consisted of white daisies, and
yellow and white carnations
with four white tapers The
brides cake was a white cake
decorated with yellow and white
daisies and the middle layer
topped with a bride and groom
standing in the garden. Also on
the brides table was green
punch in a crystal punch bowl
embrassed with clusters of
flower.
The grooms table consisted
of the grooms cake which was
decorated w ith fruit and a silver
coffee service The cloth was
brown in color with yellow
daisies at each corner
The cakes were made by Mrs
Gene Use Serving the brides
cake was Sissy West ot Del Rio.

This University was started
by Mmes. Stephenson’s father
J Will Harris in 1912 with only
two students and now has an
enrollment of over 28,000.
