first basketball game sche-
duled for November 19 at
6:30 p. m. in Lefors.
They will be playing in
a Basketball Tournament
on Thursday, Friday and
Saturday, Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
The Skellytown Boy
Scouts met Tuesday evening
in the Skellytown Elemen-
tary School basement under
the direction of Scoutmaster
z Gary Hinds.
Mr. Larry Don Basham,
assistant Scoutmaster, gave
an informative lesson on
leathercraft.

Kevin Barrow, Ty Cross,
Max Hinds, Jacky Rogers
and Bryan Thurmond.

Feted With Shower
Miss Connie Sue Tyson,
bride-elect of Donald
Wayne Easley of Skellytown,
was honored at a pre-nupital
shower on Monday evening,
7:30 p. n. in the Fellowship
Hall of the Victory Baptist
Church in Stinnett. Hostesses
were ladies of the church.
Parents of the couple are
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Tyson,
west of Stinnett, and Mr.
and Mrs. Don Easley of
Skellytown.
The receiving line was
formed with the mother of
the bride-elect, Mrs. Gene
Tyson, the groom-elect's
mother, Mrs. Don Easley
and the grandmother of the
bride-elect, Mrs. Eunice
Tyson of Stinnett. Others
composing the receiving line
were Mesdames Jim Ruth,
Ralph Fox, Jimmy Fox
and Johnny S anchez, all
relatives.
The serving table was
decorated in the chosen
colors of the bride-elect,
blue and white. This color
theme was carried out in
the centerpiece with flowers
of differing shades of blue,
the cake was white and blue
centered with a heart. Pine-
apple punch was also served.

Tyson and Miss Gayle Herring,
The couple will be
married on Friday evening,
November 16, by Randy
Hughes, evangelist from
Mineral Wells, at the
Victory Baptist Church in
Stinnett.
