leg as the result of an accident
Monday. The little fellow had
started running across McKinney
street toward hig home, at the same
time that a delivery wagon from
Sample’s Grocery, Charlie Carter
driving, came down the street. Near-
ly in the middle of the road, the lit-
tle fellow saw the wagon at the
same time the driver saw him, but
in the few seconds of space between
thtm neither could stop. The horse,
jerked suddenly back by the driver,
bore down on the child,
him under his feet in spite of
driver’s effort to back him.

from under the horse’s hoofs
carried heme. On examination
was found that both bones in his leg
had been broken and other slight
bruises sustained.
He was reported resting as well
as <ould he expected Tuesday, though

N. H. line of said Merchant survey,

cure unpaid burcMAs* money.
Now therefore I. J. A. Young, he
ceiver as aforesaid, will on the
first Tuesday in June. 1913, that

The third and last week of
April term of County court which
convened Monday has closed up a
number of cases, gome of them fin-
ally and others for the term. Two
jurors who failed to respond to their
summons to service were fined $10
each by Judge Hoskins for their neg-
lect. Probate business for the term
ha* been unusually heavy, being,
court attaches say, the greatest vol-
ume ot such business ever transact-
ed at one term of the court.
