the News office Saturday after-
noon for which we thank him.

he has bought the Boone Gray
farm out on the Belcherville

We understand that Mr. Gray is
thinking of locating in the far
northwest corner of Texas.
While in Mr. Winters had us to
order a new combination of
papers for him—The Nocona

came the Star Telegram, the
Chicago Ledger and the Progres-
sive Farmer. Thus, he gets his
“home paper” and a great big

and a mighty fine farm paper.
We can give our subscribers any
combination of papers they may
want. We have the latest list of
all American, Canadian and West

Joe Smithson was on the noon
train Monday and stepped off
long enough to shake hands with
The News’ editor and renew for
his paper. For which we thank
him very much He had been
over to St. Jo to visit his sister,
Mrs. J. B. Carmichael, and was
attending court at Henrietta list
week. Mr. Smithson says he
came out pretty well this year—
had made about 25 bales of cotton
which be sold at a good price and
had plenty of corn and feed to do
him and that the place he had
bought near Byers had enhanced
very much in value in the past
few months.
