CONSTIPATION
WORRIES
As you grow older, your system be-
gins to dry out. This is true of your
digestive system, and it may lead to
constipation. Serutan, taken daily
with plenty of water, produces a
smooth gel that provides the proper
sApisture, bulk and peristaltic stimu-
lation to help end your constipation
worries.
Serutan is the all-vegetable lax-
ative aid that moistens hard, dry food
wastes and forms it for easy, regular
elimination. Serutan is entirely dif-
ferent from harsh chemical pills,
salts, bran or oils. Take Serutan
daily with water and enjoy regular
elimination or your money back.

alone or works alone. Only Christ,
through the power of His gospel,
(Rom. 1:16) can save, but faith
and obdeience on the part of man
are definite conditions of salva-
tion.
The name Christian is generally
applied to any person who be-
longs to a church of any kind,
who claims to be a believer in
Christ, or who makes even a par-
tial attempt to follow the teach-
ing of Christ. Contrary to the
commonly accepted idea, being a
Christian and being Christian are
not the same thing. One may be
a believer in Christ without ac-
tually being a Christian. King
Agrippa believed in Christ and
told Paul “Almost thou per-
suadest me to be a Christian”
(Acts 26:28). But faith without
obedience did not save Agrippa,
or make him a Christian. Even
the devils “Believe and tremble
(James 2:19),' but they are
Christians.
One may be a Christian
name and reputation, without
ing a Christian in fact. On
other hand, it is possible for
to be Christian in many attitudes,
sympathies, and good deeds with-
out being a Christian. Strictly

I have commanded you: and lo,
I am with you always, even unto
the end of the world” (Matt. 28:
19-20). This shows-that the dis-
ciples were required to teach the
people of all nations to obey .spe-
cific commands; as well as to be-
lieve on Jesus.

True religion, as taught by Jes-
us, consists of an active faith
in God (Heb. 11:6) and in Christ
as .His only begotten Son (John
8:24). It also consists of sincere
worship according to New Testa-
ment pattern, complete depend-
ence upon God, proper behavior,
living the Golden Rule, generosi-
ty, and unselfish service to our
fellowmen. James tells us that
“Pure religion and underfiled be-
fore God and the Father is
to visit the fatherless and

himself unspotted from

The fact that you are trying
to live a good life now is inade-
quate if you never have been born
into the Kingdom of God. Living
a good life may make one like
a Christian in sympathy and good
deeds, but it is only equivalent
to being an alien of good behavior
living in a country without the
rights of a citizen. A native of
England or France may live in the
United States and obey every law
as completley as you or I, but
he is not a citizen of this coun-
try, he has no right to vote or
enjoy our privileges, unless and
until he complies with our laws
of naturalization.
Until next week may the Lord
bless you is our prayer. Be sure
and go to church Sunday.
