he’s been trying to get his young-

using it. And this night he sees
two rings around it—one where
young Sonny left off, and another
about Pinky’s level.
He raves and rants—and takes
it out on the missus for her lack
of discipline. And later that eve-

the hardwood table that’s right
by his chair. She’s removing tho

designed to out-style, nut-value, nut-save all other cars in its field. And above
all, it reveals that sterling Big-Car quality—in every phase and feature, in
every part and pound of material—which buyers agree is exclusive to

Autobiography
(Doris Teufel, 7th Grade)
I opened my eyes to the
world on June 5, 1934. I was
born at night at eleven-thirty.
I cried all that night and the
next day.
The next day they named me
Doris Dorothy.
I was very sick when I was
ten days old. The doctors gave
me up. They said there wasn’t
a thing to do for me. One said,
“If God - -
will let you get well.” I got
well.
When I was ten months old,
I got pneumonia and a sore ear.
They took me to the hospital
and I had an operation. They
gave me too much ether so they
gave me artificial respiration.
My ear wouldn’t stay in place
so they had to put strips of
tape to hold it in place.
I stayed in the hospital for
five cays. Then I went home.
When I was five years old, '
I got measles and chicken-pox.
They, lasted four weeks.
I started to school when I
was seven years old. I liked it
very much in the first and sec-
ond grade. I liked to draw and
color.
Third grade was a little hard-
er, but I made it.
When I was in the fourth
grade it was easy.
During the summer we took
fifth grade and sent it to my
teacher and when school start-
ed I was in the sixth grade.
Now I am twelve years old
and in the seventh grade.
There are ten of us in our
class, and we have lots of fun.
Up In The Sky
(Beatrice Zbranek, 5th Grade)
Up in the sky,
I saw it fly!
It flew like a bird,
Way up in the sky.
It took a dive,
Like a bee-hive
I thought it lost its’ life,
But it was just a goat,
Up in the sky afloat.
