Linda Lindsey-Fisher of
Dallas will host a nine-country
European Odyssey July 1-$1.
Countries to be visited are
England, Belgium, Holland,
Switzerland, Liechtenstein,
Austria, Italy, France and
Monaco.
Among the highlights of the
trip will be the 350th anniver-
sary performance of the
world-renowned Passion Play
in Oberammergau, Germany.
Spared by the ravages that
scourged Europe in the 1600’s,
this village vowed to demon-
strate their thankfulness by
representing the passion of
Jesus in dying for the world's
sins “until the end of time.”
This quaint, wood, carver’s
village, located in the
Bavarian Alps, is truly an in-

Avoca churches are busy with
revival services this week
The home of Mr and Mrs.
R.E. Hughes was the scene of
a hamburger supper followed
by games of 42 last Friday
evening. Guests were Rev,
and Mrs George Courtney.

Revival meeting began at
the Avoca Baptist Church and
the United Methodist Church
of Avoca Sunday Speaker at
