Heavy rain all the way from El
Centro, Calif, into Nccona provid-
ed a pleasant relief from the ex-
pected heat. Everyone was glad
to get back home but its pleasant
to think back over all the exciting
magnificient and glorious places
that nature has fashioned to make
up this country of ours.

gether, sprinkle them liberally with
talcum, and they will have the
slick surface of new cards.

ing separating of eggs when poach-
ing them?
A. Pour a little vinegar into the
water when poaching the eggs and
they will not separate.
Q. How can I economize when
using parafin?
A. Save all the small pieces of
paraffin as they are removed from
the Jelly glasses, washing each
piece and placing them in a con-
' tainer. When desired, these pieces
I can be boiled, and the result will
oe a nice quanity of clear paraffin.
