94th Birthday
Party Sunday
Only a quiet gathering of mem-
bers of the family and close
friends marked the obsei’vance of
the 94th birthday of S. F. Cooper
of this city at his home on East
Glisson Avenue. He was born on
May 24, 1860, but open house was
held Sunday, May 23.
Two birthday cakes, baked by
his granddaughters, Mrs. Millard
Gillis of Ilarrold and Mrs. Lovonia
Harbor of Wichita Falls, were ser-

Five new Continental Trailxvay

Wedneesday afternoon. The buses
were being taken to Dallas to re-
place the present ones on the Dal-
las-Demcr route through Electra
beginning June 1.
The coaches have a new type
of body suspension which uses air
bellows instead of metal springs.
