'’Indians" has been
the topic this week.
We started out with
a discussion of Ind-
ians-food they ate,
where they lived,
clothes they wore,
their means of tran-
sportation. Next, we
colored, cut, and
pasted Indian symbo-
ls on a teepee. Amy
Evans brought pictu-
res of Indians. We
made Indian headdre-
sses and feathers
too in which we had
to draw a line from
the Indian to the
buffalo.
One day we made
butter, using whipp-
ing cream and babyf-
ood jars, and Staci
Childress brought
crackers so we could
taste the final pro-
duct. Everyone was
.sure it was the best
they had ever tast-
ed!
Leaders this week
were Molly Sumrow,
Jason Creed, Rebecca
Reid, Jason Daley,
and Staci Childress.

A home that uses energy wisely
could be your family’s best friend.
That's why Community Public Service Company developed the
Energy Checked Efficiency Home program. When a new or
existing home is designated as Energy Checked Efficient, that
means it has passed an inspection for many energy saving
features. Specialists inspect homes for features such as
correctly sized heating and cooling equipment, attic ventilation
and efficient water heating. They also take a close look at such
things as insulation with the proper "R" value, duct insulation,
caulking and weatherstripping. A home displaying our Energy
Checked Efficiency sign can help you save energy and money
for as long as you live in it.
For more information about Energy Checked
Efficient homes call or come by Community
Public Service Company.
