It was a blic "roar" for the Lions
at their meeting today.
Yew a roar of laughter from start
to finish and some observers who
haw- lit en accustomed to attending
meeting of the Lions for a long
time were forced to remark "this
rlub has rnpldly become a trouble
graw lor the business and profes-
sional men of nreekenridge mean-
ing that o much fun is had at
each mieting that the business and
professional men forget their trou-
bles there.
And today was no exception to the
recent rule unless It was easier for
th'-m to bury their troubles today.
The fun mill started to' grind
tlrst when Items of old business
were called for by DtfWItt Hox-
worth who presided today and tho
subject of the recent trip to Fort
Worth of several Lions was brought
up. Incidentally In this connection
Secretary W. II. Morrison Informed
thn Lions that ho learned on this
trip that Ilreckenrldge has a Lions
Club membership larger by two
mouthers than that of the Panther
City club.
