School of Art, the Academy of Fine
Arts, Philadelphia, and the Darby
School of Painting. For several
years she was nstructor in Roanoke
college, Va. She was instruct©,, in
drawing. High school, Sandersville.
Ga., in 1903-4. In 1907 she grad-
uated from Cooper institute. New
York City. In 1904-6 Miss Purr
was an Instructor in Hampton col-
lege. Va. She conies directly from
the d rectorship of the Fine Arts
department at Cottey college, Mo.,
in which institution she has render-
ed satisfactory service for the past
three years.
