Lady’s Painful Trouble
Helped By Cardui
Why do n many women take Car-
dui for the relief of functional pains
at monthly times? The answer is
that they want results such as Mrs.
Herbert W. Hunt, of Hallsville, Texas,
describes. She writes: “My health
want good. I suffered from cramp-
i^ac. My pain would be so Intense it would
Bauseate me. I would Just drag around,
. m alunlsh and ‘do-less.’ My mother de-
cided to give me Carduf. I began to mend.
That tired, sluggish feeling was gone and
the pains disappeared. I can’t praise Car-
dui too highly because I know it helped

ALTHOUGH the Ford is one of the lowest-price cars,
XX. it is the only V-8 car below $1645. That’s why you
can’t really judge it till you drive it. Till you feel the
rmzxkAer flow of its 85 horsepower—its xwiftrr pick-up—
its ttuur power up hills and at fast cruising speeds.
And you’ll find other outstanding points in a Ford V-8.

Meets With Mon-
, tague 4-H Club
“Long sheets are necessary for)
beds,” explained Miss Ruth Farquhar
to the Montague 4-H Club girls,
when they met at the home of Mrs.
Alton McNatt last Thursday morn-
ing. May 21.
A sheet for a bed should be long
enough to make an envelope comer
and wide enough to fold under the
mattress. There should be two sheets
on a bed. The quilt should fold
under the mattress at the foot of
the bed but should not come very far
up to the head of the bed .because
the sheets have to fold back over the
quilt.
At this meeting, the girls brought
up the question of how they were to
send a delegate to the short course.
This question was discussed and it
was decided to have an ice cream
supper soon.
Those present were Myrtle Faye
Goodgion. Fuby Fenoglio, Lola B.
Strickland, Mildred Lee Patrick.
Isleta Cox, Weida Fay Simpson,
Glenna Jo Sparks, Johnie Mitchell.
Juvine Hedgpeth, Katherine Chand-
ler, Alma Miller, Thelma Lanford,
Mrs. Alton McNatt, and Miss Ruth
Farquhar.
