The annual Cub Scout Pack 40
Blue and Gold Banquet unfold
Friday at First United Methodist
Church with numerous awards
distributed at the affair and the
announcement that Pack 40 had
received the 1982 Honor Unit with
six star recruiting certificate.
Special guests at the banquet
were: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Todd of
Wichita Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Ray
B. Dickey Sr., and Mr. and Mrs.
William Martin of Electra.

were held Sunday afternoon at
Electra Riding Club Arena. Win-

The engagement and approach-
ing marriage of Sandi Lynn
Snodgrass, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Weldon Snodgrass of Elec-
tra, to William S. Killo Jr., son of
Mr. and Mrs. William S. Killo Sr.,
of San Antonio, has been announ-
ced by the future bride’s parents.
The couple plan a June 5th
wedding date with a 2 p.m.
ceremony in St. Paul’s Catholic
Church of Electra and with Rev.
Dave Johnson, pastor, officiating.
The bride-elect is a graduate of
Electra High School and Univer-
sity of Texas in Austin. She is a
member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority
and is employed by the San
Antonio School District as an
elementary school teacher.
The future groom is also a
graduate of the University of
Texas and a member of Phi
Gamma Delta Fraternity. He is
employed as a real estate apprai-
ser and broker for Bexar County.

Amy Elizabeth Witt
Word has been received of the
death of Amy Elizabeth Witt.
21-month old daughter of Mr. and
Mrs Tom Witt of Everman,
Texas. Mrs. Witt will be remem-
bered locally as the former Peggy
Westbrook. She died at a Houston
hospital of complications after
surgery for breathing difficulties.
Services were held at Brentwood
Church of Christ and burial was in
Laurel Land Ccmcterv
Survivors in addition to her
parents are- a brother. Adam
Witt: Maternal grandparents.
Mrs Jerry Griffith of Fort Worth.
Lillie Westbrook of Everman and
K.P Westbrook of Farmington.
