A complete schedule of com-
munity activities planned in ob-
servance of Electra’s 75th anni-
versary, has been announced by
Anniversary Committee Chairman
Robert Palmer. Advance inquiries
have indicated that an enormous
gathering of local and former
residents will attend the Oct. 1st
and 2nd observance.
Activities have been planned for
local and former residents, regard-
less of age, should be able to find
an activity that they can participa-
te in.
Football game tickets for the
Saturday Oct. 2nd afternoon
homecoming game will go on sale
Monday, Sept. 27th.
Residents may wish to clip the
following list of activities for
future reference.
Anniversary activities scheduled
are as follows:
a.m. Sunday School hour and
10:35 AM worship service.

fessor of Social ethics at Perkins
School of Theology, Southern
Methodist University, is a native
of Meridian, Miss. He holds
degrees from Western Maryland
College, SMU, Union Theological
Seminary, and Columbia Univer-
sity, where his dissertation was
"The Social Ethics of John Wes-
ley.” A leave of absence from
SMU in 1971-72 allowed him time
