the Maddox Ranch, offsetting the
McCall-Leash well on the Nocona
Gas Company’s lease, is pumping
250 barrels of 32 gravity oil daily. Christians considered of paramount

The Nocona Gas Company’s high
pressure line from their well on the
Hynds place reached the city limits
on October 1st. This line is from
their own well, which is good for
more than 30,000,000 cubic feet of
gas daily. The line has a capacity
of 1,500,000 cubic feet daily, enough
for a city of 15,000 people.
Vane Justin has returned to the
best town from Fort Worth and is
now a member of Nocona’s newest
boot making firm, the Nocona Boot
Company. Mr. Justin has had ten
years experience in making boots
and shoes and is a valuable partner
in this nterprise. The Nocona Boot
Company have a splendidly appoint-
ed plant, eperienced workmen, and
are turning out boots of the highest
grade, best materials and looks are
now being urned out. Orders are
coming in almost faster than they
can be filled. We are glad to wel-
come Mr. Justin back to the best
town. The family are located in
their old home.
On a test this well made 50 barrels
per hour on a six hour run. The
Pure Oil Company have made loca-
tions for, wells just east and oneI
just west of this well.
McCall & Leash have made a
deal to drill a well for Benton &
Wood on their lease on the east
side of the Hynds place. Benton &
Wood have 88 acres on the east side
of this place, right in the heart of
the Nocona oil and gas fields.
Humphreys Corporation are rig-
ging up to drill on the Hynds place,
just east of the Nocona Gas Com-
pany’s lease. They unloaded a big
rotary rig first of the week and it
is reported that they have made ten
locations in the Nocona oil fields to
be drilled out at once.
The Texhoma Oil Company have
finised building their big 55,000 bar
rel storage tanks on the N. J
Howard land are preparing to re-
sume drilling in their No. 5 Howard.
Wilcox and Company are drilling
on the Charley Black farm, five
miles north of the best town. They
are using gas under their pot from
the Nocona Gas Company’s' high
pressure line.
