see, these two things will help a
great deal toward providing more

should be in these two groups rally
to these capable leaders, please.

The large crowd of young people
who came to the party on the Meth-
odist church lawn last Friday night
certainly had a good time.
Miss Anita Dickenson was the

songs were sung and light refresh-
ments were served.
Gould Whaley, Jr., president of
the Young People’s Division, was
there for his last party before go-
ing to Terrell School for Boys in

hilarious time, which should give
him pleasant memories to enjoy
during his year away from Nocona.
Dr. R. T. Dickenson, former pas-
tor here, who has been on the S. M.
U. faculty and chaplin of the Uni-
versity for eight years, was also a
special guest. He seemed to enjoy
himself along with the other young
people, so we are informed.

Did you ever live In a community
without a church? How do you
think you would like it? Do you
think it would be a good place in
which to bring up children? Would
the people who are bereaved by the
going away of loved ones find that
which they needed without the min-
istry of the church? Would legiti-
mate business find it better to be
without the influence of the
church? Suppose you think these
things over, and see whether or
not the church is worth your sup-
